Where are you products made?

All of our products currently in stock and available for sale on mibodia.com, have been made in Canada. As we keep expanding, additional countries with world-renown manufacturing traditions and expertise in the towel industry, such as Turkey, will be integrated in our operations, to constantly offer you products of the highest quality.

All of our products are designed in Canada; all of our designs are officially registered for international protection.

What type of fabric do you use to make your products?

All of our towels are made of the finest viscose from bamboo available on the market. For additional information, please visit Our Fabric section.

Where is your fabric made and where do you source it?

The fabric we use for our products is made in Turkey and we source it directly from one of the best and most experienced manufacturer worldwide.

Why do colors of my towel not exactly match the same corresponding colors seen in your pictures online?

Please rest assured these indeed are the same colors. Different factors can affect the way you perceive colors: the type of medium used to display these colors, whether you are looking at the physical object in front of you, or at a printed picture of it, or at the same picture but digitally displayed on the screen of an electronic device such as your smart phone, tablet, computer or laptop. Even colors of the same picture displayed on different electronic devices, can appear differently. Colors of a same picture displayed on a same device can appear differently depending on the surrounding lighting.

Where else can I buy your products aside from your website mibodia.com?

For the time being, our products are exclusively available on our official website mibodia.com. However, we are gradually planning to integrate additional sales channels in order to reach additional customers. 

Do the terms “bamboo”, “viscose from bamboo” and “rayon from bamboo" refer to the same fabric?

This topic has been the subject of confusion, controversy and even legal actions in recent years. We are therefore glad to shed some light on this important subject in our following blog post.

Can I pre-order your products if these are sold-out?

You can indeed pre-order any of our products that currently are or will be sold-out.

As a matter of fact we strongly encourage people to pre-order our products as this represents for us a vital tool to correctly plan our operations and avoid unnecessary waste of resources of all kind. 

You will certainly need a little bit of patience and for that we will reward you with an extra 10% discount, which is already included in prices displayed for pre-order items.

Please mind we reserve the right to cancel pre-orders at any time should we deem necessary to do so and any payment maid in conjunction with a cancelled pre-order, will be entirely refunded.

What is the waiting time for pre-orders?

The answer is up to 12 weeks: now this should be the worst case scenario in terms of waiting time for a pre-order. We can in fact expect most pre-orders to be processed and shipped within a shorter period of time.  However, considering the great challenges that the global supply chain has been facing since the outbreak of the Covid pandemic, we prefer to provide our customer with a safer waiting period and possibly surprise them with a quicker delivery.

As mentioned already in the above section titled “Can I pre-order your products if these are sold-out?”, we are glad to reward your much appreciated patience with an extra 10% discount on all of our products in pre-order.

My Order

Can I cancel or modify my order once I paid online?

If we already processed your order then our Return Policy would apply. In case we haven’t processed your order yet then we would allow your order to be modified or cancelled free of charge.

How do I return my order?

In case of returns, who covers the shipping fees?

In case the return is due to a change of mind, the original shipping fees are non-refundable and the buyer has to cover the costs for the return.

If the cause for the return is a faulty product or an error on our side, then we will bear the costs for the return in addition to refunding the original shipping fees.

What do I do in case I receive wrong/damaged/defective/order?

Supply chain management, order fulfillment and product shipping are not the easiest tasks to perform without a hitch: things can go wrong sometimes despite all our endeavours to live up to the high product and service quality standards we strive to provide our customers worldwide. In the rare unfortunate event of a wrong/damaged/defective/incomplete order, please reach out to us using our Contact Form providing as many details as possible, for us to be able to fix the issue in a timely manner. 

What do I do if my order is lost?

Rest assured we partner with the most reliable and experienced shipping companies in the world. Every single order we ship is fully covered by insurance and most of our shipping options come with a tracking number, that allows you to constantly monitor the status of your shipping. All this makes it quite unlikely for a shipping to go lost. However, should this unfortunate event occur, we suggest you notify the shipping company of the undelivered order in order for them to retrieve your missing order. If despite their investigation the order will still be irretrievable, we will proceed with a replacement order or a full refund according to your wishes.

I didn't receive any confirmation email for my order, what shall I do?

Check your spam folder first, as it might have ended up there. If not, please reach out to us via our contact form and we will gladly re-send it to you.

Payments, taxes and custom duties

How can I pay for my order?

We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club, as well as other payment options such as Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and PayPal. 

Depending on your location, additional local payment options might also be available.

Which currencies do you accept?

We accept the following currencies:

Unless you are located in Canada or in the Euro-zone, the US Dollar USD is the default currency and cannot be changed to any other currency (CAD or EUR). 

By picking your place of residence with the country selector in the header/footer, you will find out which currency is accepted for your selected country.

Do your prices also include taxes and import fees/custom duties?

As a Canada-based company, we currently charge taxes only on orders shipped within Canada. For any shipping address located outside Canada, we do not charge any local taxes that might be applicable in your country, beside the item retail price and the shipping fees. 

It is therefore possible that, depending on the current regulations and trade agreements in place in every single country, you will be asked to pay some taxes and custom duties that we did not charge you, once the package reaches the point of entry in your country. 

We stress the fact that these taxes and custom duties are collected by your country’s relevant authorities generally through the shipping companies on their behalf and are absolutely beyond our control. We strongly encourage you to inquire in advance whether the items you intend to purchase on our website are taxable and dutiable in your country of delivery. 

To proceed with this inquiry, you will need the HS code (Harmonized Standards code) under which we export our items, which is 6302.99.90.00 for our gym towels.

There are several calculators online for taxes and duties, using the above-mentioned HS codes; one of these tools for exemple can be accessed at the following link. Please note that we cannot be held responsible if any of the information provided on this online calculator turns out to be inaccurate or incomplete. Border Customs authorities in your country of delivery, should be your ultimate source of information regarding this topic.

We also stress that it is customer’s responsibility to make sure our products are not subject to any import restrictions in the destination country.

Shipping

Where are your products shipped from?

All of our products currently in stock and available for sale on mibodia.com, are shipped from our warehouse in Quebec - Canada.

As we keep expanding, additional shipping locations across the world will be integrated in our operations.

Do you ship worldwide?

We do ship worldwide except for the few countries that are not served by the most important shipping companies, namely: Syria, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and North Korea. We are making sure to keep this list updated.

How long will it take to get my order?

In regular circumstances this will obviously depend from your delivery address and the shipping option you will select. 

As a general rule, Express/Expedite solutions (involving air transportation) to Canada and the US can take between 1 and 3 working days (excluding weekends i.e. Saturdays and Sundays as well as all bank holidays), depending on the exact delivery location, and between 4 and 6 working days for the rest of the world.

Standard solutions (involving ground transportation) to Canada and the US can take between 1 and 7 working days, depending on the exact delivery location.

Strikes, civil unrests, severe weather conditions (storms, flooding), natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanic eruptions) are all typical factors that will greatly disrupt the smooth running of the shipping process and cause considerable delays. Additional unforeseeable hitches can also interfere with that process causing minor delays, such as technical problems of different nature.

Can I expedite my shipping?

Before completing your purchase, you will certainly be presented with different shipping options available for your delivery address and that will best suit your needs, in terms of price and delivery time.

Express/expedite shipping options will definitely be among your possible choices.

How can I check the status of my order?

Once your order is fulfilled and ready to be shipped, you are provided with a tracking number that will allow you to check the status of your order not only on our website but also on the shipping company’s website.
